Red Hot 2025 Jeep Compass driver side view on sandy and rocky terrain

The Jeep Compass has routinely been one of the best compact SUVs on the market in terms of its usability, standard four-wheel drive, and the fact that, unlike most of its competitors, it actually thrives in any sort of off-road situation. While other vehicles on the market try to show off in other ways, the Compass impresses customers with its honest-to-goodness attitude.

Trim Levels, Engine, and Fuel Economy

The 2025 Jeep SUV is available in four different trim levels: Sport, Latitude (available with Altitude Package), Limited (available with High Altitude Package), and the ultra-off-road-ready Trailhawk. All models are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 that produces best-in-class power and torque, 200 horsepower, 221 lb-ft of torque, and is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The EPA estimates that drivers will achieve 24 mpg city and 32 mpg highway, respectively, with 27 mpg combined.

New For 2025

For the 2025 model year, the Compass continues with excellent features and equipment while adding a couple of extras. Buyers of the Latitude trim will be happy with the addition of standard heated seats and steering wheel with remote start. Later in the production of the 2025 model, Jeep is adding a unique exterior color called Joose that will be truly a limited edition. Other exterior paint colors include Silver Zynith, Bright White, Diamond Black, Hydro Blue, and Red Hot.

Advanced Safety Features

No matter which trim level you decide to buy, each Compass comes equipped with some of the best and most advanced safety features, including Drowsy Driver Detection, Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking, Active Lane Management, Blind-spot Monitoring, as well as Rear Cross Path detection. As previously mentioned, all models also come standard with four-wheel drive, which gives owners Selec-Terrain with up to four driving modes as standard: Auto, Snow, Sand/Mud, and Rock mode, exclusively for Trailhawk models.

Standard Infotainment and Trailhawk Features

A 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system is standard for Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk models, with a 10.25-inch display available. Both systems come with Uconnect 5 for the ultimate in infotainment that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Top-of-the-line Trailhawk models also receive Active Drive Low 4x4 20:1 crawl ratio, which is best-in-class, a 1-inch factory lift, skid plates, aggressive off-road tires, and unique red front and rear tow hooks. With up to 19 inches of water fording and hill-descent control, the Jeep Compass Trailhawk is genuinely up for any task.
