Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition Announced for 2025 Model Year

Jeep® Brand Continues Wrangler 392 Final Edition for 2025 Model Year

“The report of my death was an exaggeration” - Mark Twain

Not So Fast…

The Jeep Wrangler 392 is taking a page out of the book of Twain by declaring, “No-no, I’m still here,” for at least one more year. That’s obviously a great thing because Jeep fans absolutely flooded everything from social media to email to let the company know they were making a huge mistake. It inspired Jeep to re-evaluate what the Wrangler 392 means to the brand and its fans.

A Word From Jeep

“When news broke in March that Jeep Wrangler 392 was roaring off into the sunset, the comments, coverage and conversation showed us that the Jeep community isn’t quite ready to say goodbye to the V-8-powered Wrangler,” said Bill Peffer, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep Brand North America. “Jeep brand listened and will continue the 392 Final Edition into the 2025 model year.”

Standard Features

For the 2025 model year, the Wrangler 392 will carry on with the same standard features of the 2024 Wrangler 392 Final Edition that include hood and fender vent decals, black nappa leather-trimmed seats, specially monogrammed shifter medallion, a swing gate plaque, an 8,000-pound-capacity Warn winch, a half-inch suspension lift, heavy-duty rock sliders, Mopar fold-out swing gate table, Xtreme 35 Package with bronze 17-inch, beadlock-capable wheels, and 35-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires.

No Longer Available

However, the Jeep 83-piece toolkit and Mopar triple loop grille guard will not be available to 2025 models as they were specific to the 2024 model.

Power and Capabilities

Powering the Jeep Wrangler 392 is a 6.4-liter V8 that produces 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque and can get from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and then fly through the ¼ mile at 13 seconds flat. Power is sent through an 8-speed automatic transmission to a full-time four-wheel drive system. The Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case, wide track Dana 44 axles with Tru-Lok electronic locking differentials, electronic front sway-bar disconnect, and the four-wheel drive system all work together to make the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 392 Trail Rated, even though it can blow the doors off some sports cars.
