Since its debut in 2022 as the flagship Jeep SUV, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer has been a hit with journalists and buyers alike. In a recent winter vehicle competition organized by the New England Motor Press Association, the 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer was awarded the best premium full-size SUV for the second year in a row. The event's judges are from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

A Word from The NEMPA President

“For the second year in a row, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer outperformed its peers during winter testing with a spacious, high-quality interior, clever use of displays and a smooth air suspension,” said Clifford Atiyeh, President, NEMPA. “While we miss the HEMI® V-8, the new turbo Hurricane inline-six is even more powerful and purposeful in this flagship Jeep.”

Amazing Engine and Interior Features

All Grand Wagoneer models feature the already legendary 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-6 Hurricane engine that outputs 510 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque and features up to 75 inches of total displays with Amazon built-in. All models have the impressive and award-winning Uconnect 5 infotainment system that features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, as well as various new convenience and connected services to keep passengers enjoying the ride. Rear passengers also get their own climate controls, along with Relax Mode, which uses the front screens to display soothing videos of the Aurora Borealis and a fireplace fire, among others, while also playing relaxing audio.

Powerful Towing Capacity and Off-Road Abilities

When properly equipped, the Grand Wagoneer is able to tow up to 10,000 lbs. It also has three 4x4 modes, Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II, along with the Selec-Terrain traction management system. Quadra-Drive II features an electronic limited-slip differential (e-LSD).

 A Word From Jeep

"The Jeep Grand Wagoneer embodies both capability and luxury," said Bill Peffer, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep Brand North America. "Its advanced four-wheel-drive systems, cutting-edge technology and premium cabin come together to create a unique driving experience. We're especially grateful for the recognition from the New England Motor Press Association members, as it reinforces the Grand Wagoneer's ability to excel in even the harshest winter conditions."
