Dodge Reveals 2025 Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead Special-Edition

The Hemi lives on in the 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat. In fact, Krusen Motors is proud to announce that for 2025, Dodge is celebrating twenty years of hemi-powered Durango models with the Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead Special Edition. Besides a name that is its own sentence, the Hammerhead is full of power and desirable features.

The Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead follows the first two limited-production, special-edition Durango models: the 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet and Dodge Durango R/T 20th Anniversary. The Hammerhead takes its name from its distinctive Hammerhead Grey leather interior. This is matched by the Night Moves dark blue exterior. Additional features that help the Hammerhead standout include:

·      Sepia SRT Hellcat logo embroidered on seatbacks

·      20-by-10-inch Satin Carbon wheels

·      Satin Black painted hood

·      Bright exhaust tips

·      Premium-wrapped instrument panel

·      Forged carbon-fiber with light black chrome interior accents

·      Leather and suede steering wheel featuring silver/sepia stitching

·      Dual silver/sepia accent stitching throughout the interior

·      Suede headliner

Powering the Hammerhead is the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat V-8, which is rated at 710 horsepower @ 6,100 rpm and a peak torque of 645 lb-ft @ 4,300 rpm. The HEMI Hellcat is paired with a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel-mounted paddles for manual-style shifting. The combination enables the Durango to accelerate from 0 to 60 in just 3.5 seconds and trip the quarter-mile mark in 11.5 seconds.  Its top speed is an estimated 185 mph. A six-piston Brembo brake system with black calipers brings things back to a stop. When doing a different form of hauling, the Durango with this engine features a best-in-class towing capacity of 8,700 pounds.

Accommodating the powerful drivetrain is the ability to select seven available Drive modes, including Auto, Sport, Track, Snow, Tow, Eco, and Valet. The Drive Modes provide more vehicle control, and Race Options allow the driver to activate, deactivate, and adjust the rpm values for Launch Control and Shift Light features.

As with the other special-edition models, the Durango has a full complement of upscale features, including:

·      10.1-inch touchscreen with navigation,

·      Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

·      Wireless charging

·      19-speaker Harman Kardon system with an 825-watt amplifier

·      Sunroof

The model also has a complete set of safety and driver-assist technologies, including:

·      Blind-spot Monitoring with Trailer Detect

·      Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking

·      Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop

·      LaneSense with Lane Keep Assist

The 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead will have a Limited production run with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $113,720. Due to its limited production, a Hammerhead may not appear randomly in Krusen Motor’s inventory, but any one of our sales professionals should be able to track one down at your request.
