Chrysler Celebrates Pacifica As The Most Awarded Minivan

Chrysler has a long, storied history with minivans. Since 1989, the company has developed some of the best vehicles that cater specifically to moms and dads looking for larger, cost-effective vehicles that aren’t terrible at the pump while maintaining a similar interior volume to a larger sport utility vehicle. For 2024, Chrysler is celebrating the Pacifica as the most awarded minivan over the past seven years in a row with a new ad campaign called “Thanking Our Parents.”

Advertising Versatility

Showing off how versatile and beloved the Pacifica has become, Chrysler has three new advertising spots on television, social media, and the internet. The names of the videos are called “Boy Mom,” “Empty Nesters,” and “Dog Mom.”

A Word From Chrysler

“With more than 175 honors and industry accolades, the Chrysler Pacifica is America’s most awarded minivan for seven years running, and we owe this achievement to the many parents out there who have been the inspiration for us as a brand to create and deliver innovative designs, features and technology that provide our customers with the ultimate family vehicle," said Chris Feuell, Chrysler Brand CEO – Stellantis. “This campaign is our ‘thank you’ to the parents and drivers and to let them know that without them, we wouldn’t be the awarded minivan we are today.”

Boy Mom

The “Boy Mom” video showcases the wild reality of a mom having numerous boys under ten years of age. It shows that while a mom’s life may be hectic, safety is most important. The boy mom who regards her children’s safety as her top concern is why the Pacifica is one of the safest vehicles on the road today, as the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) has given the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica their coveted Top Safety Pick award.

Empty Nesters

The next ad, “Empty Nesters,” thanks the parents who have dropped their only or last child off at college before finding their own adventures with the Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid model's 520-mile combined range. Once your children are all out of the house, there are plenty of reasons to have a minivan.

Dog Mom

The final video in the “Thanking Our Parents” series is called “Dog Mom” and showcases the person with an unwavering love for their pet. Thanks to Stow ‘n Go seating, the Pacifica is never hurting for available space, and the seats won’t get in the way when stowed. Behind the third row of seats, you will find 32.3 cu.ft. of cargo space. Folding the third row opens that up to 87.5 cu.ft., and folding the second row of seats gives owners 140.5 cu.ft. of cargo capacity. This means that traveling with your four-legged friends is easier than ever, allowing them to have a comfortable space while riding down the road.

Power and Fuel Economy

The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica can be purchased as a gas-only or plug-in hybrid vehicle. The gas model features a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The Pacifica plug-in hybrid has the same 3.6-liter V6 but with 260 horsepower and two electric motors, making 84 horsepower and 114 horsepower. With 520 miles of range, the Pacific hybrid is fast becoming the segment’s favorite minivan. In pure electric mode, the vehicle can go 32 miles before the gas motor kicks in. The Pacifica is also available with all-wheel drive. According to the EPA, the front-wheel drive Pacifica models can get 19 mpg in the city and 28 on the highway. When AWD is equipped, that mileage drops slightly to 15 and 25. However, opting for the plug-in hybrid allows for 82 MPGe and 30 mpg combined between city and highway.
